About the Position

In this full time permanent position, you will be part of the Mechanical sector acting as a Senior Project Leader in the London office. The role will cover various sectors including, but not limited to Commercial, Residential, Hotel, Retail and Industrial.

As the Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiar with multi-disciplinary design approach
  • Project Leading
  • Project management including project finances
  • Developing Project Leader skills in line with work opportunities
  • Participating in business development and marketing related activities
  • Participating in developing the Mechanical team technical capability
  • Participating in project activities including design and documentation
  • Ensuring NDY’s Quality System is implemented and maintained on projects
  • Design verification on selected projects
  • Taking part in personal and professional development training as required
  • Participating in NDY Performance Management Process Thrive

About You

To be successful in this role you ideally you will have:

  • A minimum of 8 years experience
  • Communication skills, both written and verbal
  • An Engineering Degree accredited by Engineering Council
  • Awareness of Autodesk Revit and basic user skills
  • Project management including project finances
  • Time Management & project delivery timeframe
  • Mechanical Engineering design verification
  • Technical mechanical design processing

You will be:

  • Increasing technical knowledge and engineering skills of Mechanical Engineering team
  • Assist in building existing client relationships and developing new client relationships.
  • Control and account for time and project labour costs
  • Manage project financials where acting as Project Leader
  • Responsiveness to internal and external clients
  • Develop and/or maintain a personal client base
  • Carry out design verification on selected projects
  • Take an active role in the Mechanical section
