This project is located in the City of London and comprises a £30m refurbishment of the former Flemings Bank building into a high specification office development.
The lighting design is highly integrated within the architectural features of the building entrance, reception and eight storey high atrium areas. The aim for the visual appearance is to reflect a simplistic and elegant approach to the design by using the quality finishes and concealed sources of light.
Glass backlit surfaces in walls and floor area are designed as dynamic features that give a unique character to the space.
Lighting design is also integrated with audiovisual equipment to add interest to the waiting areas. The atrium lighting design also encompasses the coloured lighting projections onto the atrium surfaces including glass lifts and exposed ropes.
