The Experian headquarters development includes a stunning building close to the Nottingham city centre. It consists of 6,100m² of open plan offices, a further 1,000m² conference pod and a 14m tall fully glazed internal street running the full length of the front façade.
NDYLIGHT developed the lighting design for all public areas of the building including lighting to the building façade. The aim of the design was to create focal points within the internal street and to create a feature blue ‘pod’ at night.
Given the transparency of the façade, lighting to the vertical surfaces was important to give light and warmth. At night, a lighting control system allows for various events to be held. It can create drama and the scaling back of the large internal street space to a more intimate level.
