Australia's foremost collection of lighting texts find a home at NDY

The R J Nott Library was created by the Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia (Victorian Chapter) in 1972 to honour the contribution of the late Bob Nott to lighting in Australia.

Following a number of years in storage, this extensive historical collection of books and periodicals on lighting and related subjects is now located within the West Melbourne office of Norman Disney & Young on behalf of IES: The Lighting Society.

NDY Brisbane has a new address

After eight years at Raff Street in Spring Hill, NDY Brisbane is relocating to 120 Edward Street.

This move to the Brisbane CBD will allow NDY to provide improved access and services to clients whilst accommodating NDY's expanding staff presence and service offerings. The new collaborative workspaces and attention to detail demonstrate NDY’s sustainability initiatives by aiming to achieve a 5 Star Green Star Interiors rating.

NDY a proud participant of schools program for future engineers

Engineers Australia, Victoria Division is proud to support the Engineering Students @ Work program (ES@W), an initiative that aims to foster an interest in engineering that is achieving real results.

The program launched by AKORN Educational Services provides secondary-aged students with a realistic engineering experience.   The program offers students a valuable insight into engineering through project-based exposure to working in an engineering firm, providing participants with important knowledge and inspiration prior to making their tertiary education choices.

Norman Disney & Young wins Employer of Choice Award

Norman Disney & Young (NDY) took out the Employer of Choice award at the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Business Awards gala event at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre last Friday.

Now in its fifth consecutive year, the awards recognise and reward business excellence across 9 diverse categories. NDY Brisbane director Jeff Marchant was on hand to accept the Employer of Choice award.
