Norman Disney & Young (NDY) and Melbourne Water are celebrating their recognition as innovative leaders in the Mission Critical market at the 2013 Uptime Institute’s Green Enterprise IT Awards.
The highly regarded annual awards showcase owners, operators, consultants and vendors in the data centre space who have contributed ideas, projects and products to significantly improve energy efficiency in IT.
The Rotary Club of St Leonards, NSW, recently awarded the Pride of Workmanship Award to NDY sustainability consultant Noni Nuriani.
The Pride of Workmanship program was launched in Australia as a Rotary project in 1975 with the aim of encouraging pride in personal performance in the workplace, and help create a national attitude for the broader benefit of the Australian workforce.
On the same weekend in November 2012, two NDY projects received awards for sustainability. The internationally recognised Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne received yet another accolade as it was crowned Australia’s most sustainable building for 2012 at the BPN Sustainability Awards.
