NDY provided engineering design services for core building services modifications to suit the requirements for JLL’s new office fitout.
Our team delivered building services for the first floor fitout of the Carlton Hotel Building at 1 Papanui Road, Christchurch, providing:
- Open plan offices
- Meeting spaces
- Additional toilets and shower
- Kitchen and coffee bar.
NDY worked closely with the client and the architects to maximise the use of the space whilst minimising cost.
Particular challenges for this project included the need for high capacity showers that required a separate gas supply to be routed through existing tenancy spaces. Large meeting spaces with openable walls also required an innovative approach to allow for fresh air provision and internal temperature control.
