Our work as engineers extends far beyond a building's completion. NDY recognises that the effective management of the life of a building is crucial to maximising energy efficiency and minimising cost.

NDY offers services in all aspects of life cycle management. These have grown from our desire to provide clients with a comprehensive tool-kit to help them manage their facilities over the long-term.

Buildings don't remain efficient unless they are properly maintained. Most have a life of at least 25 years. This clearly exceeds the time it takes to build them (normally up to 3 years) and, as such, is life cycle management is critically important.

Asset Management

A relatively new branch of engineering, asset management and maintenance is well understood by NDY. We can work with clients to review processes and formalise management systems.

Commissioning Management

NDY has significant experience in acting as commissioning managers. We understand that improving a building’s performance by saving energy and water can significantly reduce operational costs and we are well-placed to ensure that these savings are made.

Energy Management

NDY can help clients draw decisive conclusions on how energy is used in buildings and develop strategies for more efficient use. We work with clients to ensure their assets are managed effectively.

Facility Management

NDY provides expert assistance to our clients in managing and operating their existing facilities. We undertake system implementation and upgrades; comprehensive site assessments and servicing; asset data collection and monitoring of facilities management functions

Refurbishment

We provide refurbishment advice and designs to a wide range of market sectors and offer a particular expertise in the refurbishment of offices and heritage buildings.

Maintenance Management

NDY MPlus are the energy experts. We offer a multi-disciplined approach to ensure buildings operate at their optimum level and work with clients to boost energy efficiency and reduce costs.

Risk Management

The NDY Risk team has the skills and experience needed to assess and manage the risks facing clients in the building, chemical, mining and transport industries.

Safety

We have extensive experience in incorporating best-practice safety processes into our designs and are equipped to educate clients about the potential for safety improvements to their existing buildings.
